A Visual Step-by-Step Guide

Split PDF online in four steps: upload, choose split mode, preview & refine, download your new file.

Step 1: Upload Your file

  • Click the Upload PDF File button or drag and drop your PDF into the upload area.

Step 2: Choose Splitting Options

After uploading the PDF you will be given two options. Choose the option that meets your needs.

  • Split every page into a PDF: Automatically split each page into a new PDF file.
  • Select pages to split PDF: Preview the PDF visually and manually select split operations.

Step 3: Refine Selections

Define splits by clicking the ✂️ icon between pages. Pressing the ✂️ icon again reverses the split and merges two portions.

  • Use the input box to define split intervals manually. Enter ranges like 1-3,4-5 (separate each range by commas).

  • Rename different files by pressing on the files. Files are named dynamically if not specified.

Step 4: Apply Changes and Download

  • After defining splits, press the Split PDF by Pages button to proceed to the download menu. Click Download to get the ZIP file containing all your split PDFs.
